The Ken Jagroo Foundation is a private charitable foundation dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations that make a difference for individuals, families, and the community for New Yorkers.
Who We Are
Founded in 2019, the Ken Jagroo Foundation is named in honor of Ken Jagroo, who embodied the spirit of giving, believed in the importance of philanthropy, and inspired his family to carry on his legacy of altruism. Founded by his children, the Ken Jagroo Foundation focuses on assisting local nonprofits carryout their missions to help children & youth programs, educational causes, fight hunger, provide medical access, animal welfare, environmental issues, and community development, within the New York region.
Today Ken Jagroo’s family strives to help fund and support New York based organizations and projects that will continue to enhance and improve lives and resources for generations to come.
How We Help
The Ken Jagroo Foundation is committed to supporting the efforts and initiatives of local nonprofits through operational and program-based grants. We believe in the lasting impact of general operating support to give an organization the flexibility needed to reach their goals. We also award program based grants to support initiatives and projects in which we can make a measurable impact, especially for those with the greatest need.
